This time Celestine notices that Ernest is ill. Little Celestine does her best to cheer up her friend. She prepares broth and cocoa for him, prepares a delicious lunch and cleans the kitchen. And entertain Ernest with his antics! What she didn't do was sing, dance and play on pots, just to make Ernest better and he didn't get bored.
About Authors
Illustrator Gabriel Vincent "appeared" at the age of 53, in 1981. Artist Monique Martin lived in Brussels before that moment , a graduate of the Brussels Royal Academy of Arts, talented painter and graphic artist. She was appreciated by critics and the public, her works eagerly bought - but Martin found it increasingly difficult to "let go" her paintings from a workshop to a stranger's house, forever parting each time. In the early 1980s, the artist found a solution: drawings "went out of the house" easily if they became illustrations and would immediately reach many people. She came up with a nickname (by her grandparents) and became an illustrator named Gabriel Vincent. Vincent depicts adults as bears and children as cubs. But their experiences and concerns are quite human: how to explain to the foster daughter why she was left on the street? What to do if there is absolutely no money for Christmas Eve gifts ? With the soft heart of Ernest and the cheerful nature of Celestine, many difficulties are overcame. Gabriel Vincent's books are first and foremost lessons of love, friendship and understanding.
